What should I wear?
Cocktail attire. Think suits (ties optional), cocktail dresses, jumpsuits, or dressy separates — polished, festive, and comfortable enough to dance until 1 AM. The whole celebration is indoors, so no weather math required; June evenings can cool off, so a light layer for the walk home is never a bad idea.
What if it rains?
It won't matter a bit. The entire wedding is indoors by design — ceremony under the Atrium's glass dome, cocktails in the foyer, dinner and dancing in the Imperial Ballroom, all under one roof. June in Niagara-on-the-Lake is beautiful anyway, and the gardens are right outside for photos.
Do I really need a passport?
Yes — every guest needs a passport. The wedding is in Ontario, Canada. See Travel & Border Info for the full rundown, including a note about Canadian entry rules that's worth reading early.
Where should I stay?
At the venue, ideally! We have a room block at Queen's Landing — Group ID 4157390, held until April 20, 2027. Rates, booking links, and the fine print are on Where to Stay.
Are children welcome?
We adore your kids — and we're keeping the ceremony and reception adults-only, so every parent gets a proper night off. The only exceptions are infants and the very littlest ones who can't yet be away from their parents; if that's your situation, please reach out to us before you RSVP and we'll sort it out together. (Niagara-on-the-Lake is a wonderful family trip if you'd like to bring the crew along for the weekend — we just ask that the wedding events themselves stay grown-ups-only.)
I have dietary restrictions — will there be something for me?
Absolutely. Gluten-free options are available throughout the menu, and the kitchen handles other needs gracefully. There's a spot on the RSVP for each guest's dietary notes — that's all you need to do.
Money and phones in Canada?
Visa and Mastercard work virtually everywhere (tap-to-pay is standard), so don't bother exchanging cash — but if a terminal offers to charge you in USD, choose CAD instead for the better rate. Do check your phone plan for international roaming before the trip. A few more card tips are on Travel.
